Geology

A CRD / Skarn-Style Exploration Thesis

The working hypothesis: historic high-grade workings are near-surface expressions of a larger carbonate replacement system driven by a concealed intrusive engine. Modern data lets that hypothesis be tested systematically.

The Model

Four pillars of the interpretation

Each element below is an interpretation based on mapping, historic records, and geophysics — a framework for targeting, not a statement of discovered mineralization.

Intrusive Engine

The Cretaceous Indian Springs stock is the interpreted source of heat and metal-bearing fluids — the engine CRD and skarn systems require, now imaged by magnetics.

Reactive Carbonate Host

Reactive carbonate rocks that can trap and react with metal-bearing fluids — the hallmark host of major Ag-Pb-Zn CRD districts.

Structural Plumbing

A major WNW structural corridor and key intersections act as plumbing — pathways where fluids can move long distances and mineralization can accumulate.

One Connected System

Each historic mine sits on reactive carbonate host rock, cut by the same NE/WNW structural pattern, proximal to the interpreted intrusive source — one system across the expanded claim block.

Interpreted Architecture

One connected district-scale system

Source, structure, host, and magnetics — every historic mine sits within the same interpreted framework.

Modern Geophysics — 2026 Drone Magnetic Survey

599 line-km. 143,636 readings. A new view of the district.

The 2026 drone magnetic survey highlights anomalies interpreted as intrusive influence and structural trends beneath cover. Integrated with mapping, these define the ranked target framework that guides target refinement, sampling, permitting, and drill planning.

Field Evidence

Mineralization at surface and in historic workings

Replacement textures, silica-carbonate and jasperoid alteration, oxide expressions at surface, and fault-related mineralization — the classic CRD signature. Samples shown are selective by nature and are not representative of any defined body of mineralization; they document the style, not the extent, of the system.
